Sim free mobile phones: Are they useful?

These days mobile phones are becoming popular as people seem to buy them as a daily necessity. Not all of us may be fully satisfied with our current network providers. But if you are unsatisfied with it you can''t use another service provider because your phone is locked to that network. The solution to this is buying Sim free mobile phones. Sim free mobile phones are phones which are purchased separately without a connection or a Sim card.

The Sim card can be prepaid or postpaid. Postpaid Sim cards allow you to talk whenever you want without worrying about your talktime getting finished as in case of prepaid.
Network operators install these Sim cards into your handsets so that they can prevent you from using your handset on another network. This restriction can be removed by inputting unlock codes but it takes time.
So if you are having difficulty using a particular Sim card inserted in your mobile phone, you can opt for Sim free mobile phones. Sim free phones are without any network connection. They may be expensive than pay as you go and contract phones as they are not available with any deals or discounted packages.
So the use of Sim free phones is that you can choose a service provider of your choice that meets your exact requirements. In other words, these phones allow you to use your phone on different providers so that if you are not happy with your current service provider, you can switch over to a different provider.
